COLORADO SPRINGS - The Colorado Springs Airport has recently implemented new ground transportation rules and regulations that deny Uber the ability to pick up passengers.
Over the past six months, airport officials have been working with Transportation Network Companies including Uber and Lyft to create an operating agreement.
COS airport was able to work out something with Lyft but not Uber. According to an airport spokesperson, they were unable to reach an agreement because of "internal technology issues."
The airport plans to resolve those issues sometime in the near future.
Uber drivers are currently only authorized to drop off passengers at COS Airport.
