Cheyenne Mountain Zoo vying for 'Best Zoo' in America

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs is once again in the running for Best Zoo in North America, and the zoo hopes to earn enough votes for another top-10 finish.

The zoo was in fourth place as of Monday, and voting is open through April 30. You can vote by visiting this link:

Last year, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo was voted as the sixth-best AZA-accredited zoo in North America. The zoo boasts more than 750 animals of 170 species from around the world, and it's the U.S.' only mountain zoo.
