FORT COLLINS, Colo. -

The Colorado State Patrol says three children and a school bus driver have been injured after a car ran under the back of a school bus north of Fort Collins, critically injuring the driver of the car.

Trooper Josh Lewis said the driver of the car suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident early Friday. He said the school children and bus driver had minor to moderate injuries. He said no names of the injured were available, and the cause of the accident is under investigation.

Television video showed a car almost completely crushed under the back of the bus.
