Blind children listen for clues at Colorado Springs Easter egg hunt

Easter egg hunt for the deaf and blind

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Blind children were able to take part in a special Easter egg hunt Thursday morning at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind in Colorado Springs.

Beeping eggs were placed throughout the lawn, and children were able to use their hearing to locate the eggs.

"We love to see the children's faces and do something that the blind children don't normally get to do," said one of the volunteers at the annual event.

Parents and siblings came out to participate too.
