A woman was shot in the face late Sunday night and is recovering in the ICU. Janell Kilgore, 49, was in her car in the 500 block of Iowa Avenue, near East Platte Avenue when she was shot.

"It's so bad, so bad," said Bill Bell, Kilgore's stepfather. "She was just coming back from work."

Bell said Kilgore was shot inside her car.
