Colorado Springs police investigating after 2 men shot

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon on the southeast side of town that sent two people to the hospital.

Several police units set up a scene near Murray and Fountain boulevards, but they had cleared it by about 4:15 p.m. with no arrests.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, there was an exchange of gunfire between two vehicles.

Two men were wounded and taken to the hospital. Their identities and conditions are unknown.

Police tracked one of the vehicles involved in the shooting to a registered address in the 600 block of South Circle Drive, but no suspects were there. That scene was cleared by about 4:30 p.m.
