1 of 10 suspects in murder of 2 El Paso Co. teens pleads guilty

COLORADO SPRINGS - One of the 10 suspects in the murder of two El Paso County teens pleaded guilty this week.

Breanna Eloise Dahlberg, 20, pleaded guilty to false imprisonment in court on Monday in connection with the homicide case of Derek Greer, 15, and Natalie Partida, 16. The kidnapping and assault charge Dahlberg faced will be dismissed.

Greer and Partida's bodies were found along Old Pueblo Road on March 12.

Dahlberg was arrested on March 30 on charges of kidnapping assault and false imprisonment. She will be sentenced on September 5.

The other 10 suspects in the case include:

  • Gustavo Marquez
  • Diego Chacon
  • Joseph Rodriguez
  • Marco Garcia-Bravo
  • Alexandra Romero
  • Angelita Prado
  • Endo Velarde
  • Alander Wilson
  • Carlos Meza

Carlos Meza, Angelita Prado, Endo Velarde and Alander Wilson will be in court on July 24.

Diego Chacon, Joseph Rodriguez, Marco Garcia-Bravo and Alexandra Romero will be in court on July 31.

And on October 17, Gustavo Marquez will see his day in the courtroom. 

Authorities have yet to release what exactly happened to the two teens and a motive that led to their death. As the court proceedings continue, more details should be revealed.
