Police are looking for two burglary suspects believed to be targeting homes in northeast Colorado Springs. The two men dressed in hoodies were seen entering a home in the Springs Ranch area early Friday morning.
"It's so scary what they're doing," said Sandee Wilson, who lives in the area. "We've had a lot of crime here recently."
A few weeks ago Wilson woke up to an alarm from her Ring doorbell camera.
"I looked out the window and the cops were across the street, so I went over there and the neighbors had two vehicles stolen," said Wilson.
It turned out to be part of more than a dozen cars that were either broken into or stolen in the area recently.
"You think you know your neighbors and then in the middle of the night they're walking in garage doors that are open," she said.
That's exactly what happened to another family just a few blocks down. Below, is video footage from a Ring doorbell camera that shows the two suspects scoping out the home along Bonnie Brae Lane.
The two suspects walk along the side fence, jump over, and the enter the garage through an unlocked door.
"It's scary they're going through to see houses that look vacant," said Linda King, a neighbor who lives right down the street from where it happened.
According to Colorado Springs Police, there's been a 22 percent increase in thefts from this time last year.
"Know your neighbors, keep an eye on everything," said King.
If you have any information on the identity of these two men, call the CSPD Investigations Division.
