2 arrested for causing $34k worth of damage to COS apartment complex

COLORADO SPRINGS - Two men were arrested on Monday morning for causing around $34,000 worth of damage to some Colorado Springs apartments. 

Police responded to a report of shots fired at the Vista View Apartment Homes off N. Union Boulevard at around 8:10 a.m. 

Over 26 windows were shot out by a BB gun, causing around $34,000 worth of damage. A construction worker was also hit by a stray BB and had bruising and swelling. He is OK. 

Witnesses led officers to three men at a nearby apartment.

Cullen Brannon and Dylan Bell were arrested for criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and illegal possession or consumption of ethyl alcohol.

A BB gun rifle was found on the balcony of their apartment. 

The third man was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was served and released.
