38-yr-old wanted for murder of local body shop owner

COLORADO SPRINGS - A 38-year-old is wanted in connection with an incident in Colorado Springs where the owner of a local auto shop was killed and another was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 

Eric William Grant is wanted for first-degree murder.

This stems from an incident on July 13 where officers arrived to investigate a robbery at Full Throttle Auto Service off Chelton Road and found George Maldonado dead and another with traumatic injuries. 

Derrick Davis, 59, has also been arrested in connection to this case.

Grant is described as standing 6’2” tall and weighing 185 pounds with a muscular build, black hair, and brown eyes. 

Grant should be considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Grant.  appreciates the FBI’s assistance in bringing this dangerous felon into custody.
