Boy, 6, hurt in Colorado Springs...

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that sent a little boy to the hospital. 

The crash happened at around 6:45 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Gilpin Avenue, near S. Circle and Monterey.

Witnesses told police that the suspect vehicle was black, possibly an SUV.

The major accidents unit is investigating.

Police say the boy suffered a broken bone, but he is expected to recover.
