Colorado Springs Fire Department to unveil new fire vehicles

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Fire Department will unveil three new vehicles Wednesday morning, two 1,500-gallona per minute fire engines and a 109-foot aerial fire truck.

Unlike mass-produced automobiles, vehicles used to fight fires are specially designed and engineered.

Fire Chief Ted Collas will unveil the vehicles to Mayor John Suthers at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
