COLORADO SPRINGS - A popular Colorado Springs bar is closing its doors after nearly 15 years of being downtown.
According to the Gazette, Southside Johnny's will close on March 26.
The owner of the bar, Nolan says he was unable to stay open after a recent rent increase at the South Tejon Street location.
He is planning to open a new bar called the "N3 Taphouse" on West Colorado Avenue next month. Employees from the Southside Johnny’s will be transferred there.
