COLORADO SPRINGS - The Colorado Springs Fire Department is investigating a fire that started in a storage unit of Vincent Drive.
CSFD tweeted about the fire at American Storage at around 7:45 p.m.
Firefighters had to use a heavy duty saw to cut into several units to gain access to the blaze.
At around 8:15 p.m. the fire appeared to be under control.
In total, nine units were damaged by the flames and several more from the smoke.
The smoke was even carried across I-25 and caught a few drivers off guard.
No injuries have been reported.
