CSFD, others involved in massive Twitter hack

The Colorado Springs Fire Department Public Information Officer (@CSFDPIO) was hacked early Wednesday morning by an account using several hashtags including ones about Nazis. Denver Red Cross, Forbes and hundreds of other accounts were also hacked.

An hour after the first message appeared, the hackers changed the account's profile and cover pictures. The avatar appears to be a pin from around the Ottoman Empire and the cover picture was changed to the Turkish flag.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
