CSFD responds to injured hiker at Red Rock Canyon Open Space

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A man was injured after falling more than 20 feet while hiking in Red Rock Canyon Open Space.

Officials with the Colorado Springs Fire Department say the man was hiking near the Red Rock Canyon Path when he fell down a hillside.

Emergency crews responded to the call just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The hiker was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be okay. His name hasn't been released.
