Home invaders lead CSPD officers on chase

Colorado Springs home invasion...

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Colorado Springs police are searching for several people involved in a home invasion.

Police were called at about 1:43 a.m. Tuesday by someone who was able to make it out of the home located in the 4400 block of Fenton Road safely.

The witness told officers that multiple people entered the home and held the victims at gunpoint while they stole expensive items from the home. The caller was able to sneak out a back door and call police from a neighbor’s house.

When police arrived, they spotted the vehicle involved in the robbery and tried to pull it over. Officers chased the car but later had to halt the pursuit it for safety reasons.

The suspect vehicle was eventually found, but no one was inside. A police K9 was used to the search the area but was not able to find the suspects.

No one was hurt in the incident.
