Identity released of driver who died in crash at Wooten & Platte

COLORADO SPRINGS - The Coroner's Office released the identity of the driver who died in a two-vehicle crash in Colorado Springs on Friday.

Scott Sisk, 39, was driving the truck that crossed into an oncoming lane near the intersection of Platte and Wooten and crashed into another vehicle.

The occupants of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay, according to Colorado Springs police.

The cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.

"We're still investigating how the vehicle crossed into opposite lanes of traffic," said Lt. Howard Black with the Colorado Springs Police Department.  "Was it because of a medical issue or mechanical failure?  Those are all things we look at."

The accident shut down Platte between Wooten and Babcock Road for six hours on Friday evening.
