Lightning strike starts fire at COS home

COLORADO SPRINGS - A lightning strike started a fire at a home in Colorado Springs on Tuesday. 

A storm rolled through El Paso County at around 5 p.m. The lightning strike occurred not much long after at a home in the 1300 block of Shenandoah Drive. 

The lightning hit the roof. Luckily, the fire was minor and the homeowner was able to put it out quickly. 

No injuries were reported.
