Man arrested with explosive devices in Colorado Springs also involved with missing woman

COLORADO SPRINGS - A man found with homemade explosive devices in Colorado Springs was also involved in a woman reported missing out of El Paso County. 

John Bough, 35 was arrested on Sunday morning after authorities found him in possession of several firearms and multiple homemade explosive devices.

Officers from the Sand Creek Division were investigating a possible stolen motorcycle when they were led to Bough off Chapman Drive.

Bough is also a convicted felon, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department. 

On August 31, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office issued a missing person report for a woman named Selma Oliva Halls.

In the report, the Sheriff's Office stated that Halls had been released to a John Bough on the condition that she would be taken to rehab. 

Halls never checked into a rehab facility. 

On September 3, EPSO announced that she was no longer missing and she had made contact with law enforcement. 

We are working to gather more information surrounding the arrest of Bough.
