Man hits 2 buildings, 2 vehicles following St. Patty's Day celebration in COS

COLORADO SPRINGS - A 29-year-old is behind bars after crashing into two buildings, two parked vehicles, and an electrical box in Colorado Springs on Saturday morning. 

After celebrating St. Patrick's Day, Cody Burns decided to go for a drive at around 6:43 a.m. He was traveling in the 800 block of Mt. Werner Circle when he hit the buildings and the cars. He eventually came to a stop when he hit the electrical box. 

Both buildings lost electrical power and had structural damage, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department. 

Burns was arrested for DUI along with additional traffic charges. 

Fortunately, no one was injured.
