COLORADO SPRINGS - Employees in the Business Office at Parkview Medical Center are chipping in to spread some Christmas cheer to more than 30 Pueblo kids this year.
Employees came together to collect gifts that will mostly go to children living in a temporary housing project on the city's south side.
"Families that need help with having a merry Christmas, and presents under the tree this year for their kiddos when they wake up on Christmas morning," said Christina Trujillo, Posada Program and Marketing Director.
The Business Office's effort is one example of how the Parkview staff is giving back.
Team members throughout the hospital also raised more than $2,900 to help fund the angel tree gifts sponsored by the Salvation Army.
