Police find thousands of dollars worth of items, drugs, after break-ins at park

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Colorado Springs police say three people were arrested after several break –ins at the Red Rock Canyon Open Space.

It happened Thursday morning.

Police say officers pulled over a car in the 3400 block of West Colorado Avenue. Inside officers found  $15,000 in stolen items, 2.1 grams of cocaine, and 7.7 grams of prescription pills.

Two of the people in the car were wanted on warrants.

Rhiannon Mooney, Kevin Crumb and Carl Powell are facing several charges including burglary and drug possession.
