Safe travels to the mountains with CDOT's Snowstang

COLORADO SPRINGS - Bustang has proved to be useful when Broncos fans need safe transportation to the game. Now, CDOT is trying to give a safe option for skiers and snowboarders wanting to travel into the mountains.

Snowstang is a new pilot bus service that will be used to get the shredders to six different resorts.

The bus will be in service on Saturday, February 11 and Friday, February 24.

Pick-up and drop-off will be in Lakewood. Round-trip prices will be $45 for Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Winter Park; $50 for Breckenridge and $60 for Vail and Beaver Creek.

If Snowstang is successful, CDOT will implement the service next winter.
