COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - During a chamber luncheon in Colorado Springs on Wednesday, Senator Cory Gardner was interrupted by a mariachi band just as he was starting to speak and answer questions.
The band was there at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort representing the group Americans for Conservation of the Arts as well as the Latino community.
A representative of the group stated that after months of not being able to get a hold of Sen. Gardner, they felt that interrupting him at the meeting was the best way to get his attention.
The band played a song well known by the Latino community as one that would be performed for a lover. It is called "Donde Estas Corazon", which means where is my heart?
