Several evacuated from Spectrum building, CSFD says no hazardous situation

COLORADO SPRINGS - The Colorado Springs Fire Department had to evacuate several people from a building off E. Bijou Street on Wednesday afternoon. 

According to a spokesperson with CSFD, several of the Spectrum employees reported not feeling well, so first responders decided to get  HAZMAT on scene and evacuate the building. 

At around 4:12 p.m., CSFD announced that they hadn't found any gas and that the building wasn't a hazardous environment.  

The evacuation was lifted at around 4:53 p.m.

Everyone is reportedly OK at this time.
