COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado Spring police are looking for two men who shot their way through secure doors to escape after shoplifting from the Southgate Sears store on Wednesday night.

According to police, two men were in the Southgate Sears when an employee noticed they were attempting to shoplift. When a  Loss Prevention personnel confronted them, one of the suspects displayed a knife and threatened the personnel's life.

Staff had already secured the exit to keep customers from entering. The men, realizing they couldn't get out, pulled out their guns and opened fire on the doors.

They were able to leave the premises after damaging the doors severely.

Suspect 1 is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20's, around 5'09" with a thin build, gray stocking cap, black jacket, and gray hoodie.

Suspect 2 is described as a Hispanic male also in his late teens or early 20's, 5'05" with a medium build, shaved head with a thin mustache. He was last seen wearing a brown, leather jacket and blue jeans.
