The Colorado Springs Sky Sox are back in the postseason for the first time in 20 years, having been crowned the champions of the Pacific Coast League American North Division after a dominant regular season that saw them finish with the second-best record in the PCL at 80-57 and winning their division by 10 games over second place Oklahoma City.
The Sky Sox will face the Memphis Redbirds, champions of the Pacific Coast League American Southern division and Triple-A Affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, in a best-of-five series beginning Wednesday, September 6 at 6:05 pm MDT at AutoZone Park in Memphis. The Sky Sox play on the road for the first two games of the series before heading back to Security Service Field for game three on Friday, September 8, with if-necessary games four and five on Saturday, September 9, and Sunday, September 10 respectively.
