TSA expands new security procedure tested at Colorado Springs Airport

Passengers at all airports in the U.S. will face additional security. Security officials will ask travelers to take out all electronic devices bigger than a smartphone and place them in a bin by themselves.

The change won't apply to Precheck lanes.

It comes after the Transportation Security Administration tested the idea at the Colorado Springs Airport and several others earlier this year.
