Two arrested in stabbing in Manitou Springs

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. - Officers with Manitou Springs Police say two people were arrested after an stabbing incident on Friday morning. 

Police say they responded to Waltham Avenue in Manitou Springs at about 7:10 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man with a laceration to his head.

Upon further investigation, police say that 29-year-old Micah Dettling and 29-year-old Thomas Walter traveled to the area to confront the victim. 

During the confrontation, police say Walter pulled out a knife and struck the victim in the head, causing the laceration. 

The victim was treated and released at the hospital. 

Police arrested Dettling and Walter, and the two are still in custody.
