Two Colorado cities make U.S. News & World Report's best places to live list

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - U.S. News & World Report has released its list of best places to live in 2017, and Colorado Springs is on the list.

Denver is the only Colorado city to make the top 10, coming in at number two. The website noted Denver's population growth, strong job market and reputation as a place where people across the country say they would like to live. Denver topped the list at number one last year. It was bumped by Austin this year.

Colorado Springs dropped from number five on the list last year to number 11 this year. In its ranking, U.S. News & World Report noted that median home prices in Colorado Springs are lower than in Denver.
