Arrest warrant issued for John Bowlen, son of Broncos owner

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. - An arrest warrant has been issued for John Bowlen, the son of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, days after his arrest in California.

Our partners at Denver7 report that the warrant is for violating probation in a 2015 harassment case.

Bowlen was arrested on Sunday in San Luis Obispo County, Calif on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

His arrest apparently directed authorities' eyes to his two-year probation, which was placed on him after being found guilty of misdemeanor harassment.

A drug and alcohol evaluation was part of that sentence, and according to Denver7, John hasn't sent his probation officer verification that he'd enrolled or completed a program.

Officials also say that Bowlen hasn’t completed the 24 hours of community service ordered to him by the court or paid $1,287.50 in the court costs.
