Aurora murder suspect arrested in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Aurora Police Department says a suspect in a homicide case it is investigating was arrested in Colorado Springs overnight. 

The arrest was made in the 3500 block of Parkmoor Village Drive, which is just east of Palmer Park. A search warrant was also executed with help from the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The suspect's name and picture have not been released.

The homicide happened at the Riviera Motel in the 9100 block of E. Colfax Avenue at around 1 a.m. on May 4.

Officers responded to the motel on a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found a man who had been shot. He died at the hospital.

KUSA-TV reported that the victim was identified as Marquette D. Killingsworth, 32.
