CSPD arrests suspected drug dealer, seizes thousands of dollars

Shortly after noon on Thursday, units from Colorado Springs police, and El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies concluded a months-long investigation, arresting a man they say was dealing drugs in Colorado Springs.

Officers arrest Tomas Curiel Galindo in the 5500 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue. During the arrest, they seized nearly two pounds of cocaine, 3.7 grams of heroin, and more than $30,000.

Officers transported Galindo to the EPSO Criminal Justice Center for booking and processing on charges of unlawfully distributing controlled substances.
