COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for a man who is accused of killing two people in Colorado Springs last May.
Glen Galloway is the prime suspect in the murders of Janice Nam and Marcus Anderson. Anderson disappeared the day before Nam was killed. His body was later found in a storage unit on N. Century Street, near N. Nevada Avenue and E. Fillmore street.
Galloway was in court Wednesday and will be back in court next week.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that this is the first time in ten years that El Paso County prosecutors have sought the death penalty.
Colorado's last execution was in 1997.
