El Paso County man upgraded to No. 5 on CBI's most-wanted sex offender list

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - A man from El Paso County has made it in the top 5 of CBI's most wanted sex offender list 

Lydon Paul Hoover, 51, is wanted out of El Paso County on several warrants.

Those include failure to appear in court on a theft charge in 2016 and failure to appear in court proceedings in 2015 after pleading guilty to harassment.

Hoover is number 5 on the state’s most-wanted sex offender list for failing to register in the county for the second time.

According to the CBI, Hoover has a prior conviction of sexual assault—child fondling.

Hoover is described as standing 5'8" and 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
