Investigation into armed robbery underway in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - An investigation is underway in Colorado Springs after a Kwick Way store was robbed around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 5600 block of North Union Boulevard.

Witnesses told police that a man entered the store, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

The accused robber left the scene on foot, and K-9 units were unable to find him, according to police. A description of the man has not been released.

No one was hurt during the incident, police said.
