Man pleads guilty to deadly shooting in Stetson Hills

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - A man pleaded guilty in El Paso County court on Thursday in connection with a deadly shooting in the Stetson Hills area. 

William Prine pleaded guilty to manslaughter and second-degree assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested in February of 2017 for fatally shooting 28-year-old Manuel L. Vigil and injuring another person. 

The two were shot while driving in a neighborhood off La Plata Peak Drive.

Prine faces anywhere from probation to 28 years in prison. He will be sentenced in April.
