Palmer Ridge Safe2Tell tip investigated; district says students are safe

MONUMENT, Colo. - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Safe2Tell tip that came in over the weekend involving Palmer Ridge High School. 

After investigating, deputies assured the district that it is safe for students and staff to be at school, according to a note that was sent to parents.

District 38 says that it's ultimately up to parents whether their kids go to class.

The exact nature of the Safe2Tell report was not disclosed.
