Police looking for door-to-door salesman accused of tricking woman into giving him her credit card

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for a man who it says tricked a woman into giving him her credit card.

The man knocked on the door of the woman's home in the 3200 block of Springridge Drive and told her he was selling books and magazines.

When the woman refused to buy anything from him, he told her she could donate $30 to a charity of her choice. She gave him her credit card to make the donation. The man ended up charging $495 to "Paragon Circulation" on the card.

A neighbor's door bell camera captured an image of the man.

If you recognize him, you are asked to call Colorado Springs Police at 719-444-7000.
