Police search for accused bank robber

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police are searching for a man who allegedly broke into a bank Monday evening.

Detectives with the CSPD Robbery Unit said the man entered the TCF Bank at 9200 N. Union Blvd around 5:30 p.m., and handed the teller a note demanding cash. Witnesses did not say if he was carrying a weapon.

Investigators described the man as white, about 6 feet tall and weighing 230 pounds. He was wearing dark rimmed glasses, a flat billed cap, dark pants and a brown Carhart-style jacket with the hood up.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
