Prank call puts Fountain Middle School on lockdown

FOUNTAIN, Colo. - A threatening call that turned out to be a prank caused Fountain Middle School to go on lockdown on Wednesday. 

According to a spokesperson with District 8, the school got the call at around 1 p.m.

Fountain police responded and eventually determined that it was a false alarm. The lockdown was lifted at 1:45 p.m.

All of the students and staff are safe.
