Father arrested for murder in connection to son's death

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. - On Saturday at approximately 10:15 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff's office responded to a call from a man, identified as 59-year-old Frank Leo Huner Jr.

Huner told authorities that he had just fatally shot what he believed to be an intruder breaking into his home located in the 3400 block of Elk Canyon Ct. in Sedalia.

During the call, Frank Huner later identified the intruder as his adult son.

Huner was taken into custody and booked on charges of 2nd Degree Murder. The investigation is still in the beginning stages and the charges could change.

The name of the victim hasn't been released. This is still an ongoing and active investigation.
