Hearing set for USAFA cadet charged with sexual assault

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - An Article 32 hearing has been scheduled for an Air Force Academy cadet accused of sexual assault charges.

Cadet 1st Class Steven R. Fox has been charged with sexual assault and abusive sexual contact.

The hearing is scheduled for September 20, 2017.

This incident involves someone else at the Academy. No other details were given.

The hearing in September will "determine if probable cause exists to support the charges and specifications," according to the Academy.

This is the second scandal surrounding the Air Force Academy for the month of September.

Just last week, ex-Cadet 1st Class Jacob Cook was sentenced to two and a half years in prison and was kicked out of the Academy for child pornography charges.
