Rye bank robbery suspect identified

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect in Wednesday’s bank robbery in Rye.

An arrest warrant is now out for 66-year-old Dennis Flowers.

Flowers is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and 135 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes and a dark windbreaker.

Deputies say he walked into the ENT credit union- on Mount Baldy Drive and handed the teller a note demanding cash.

A truck belonging to Flowers was located at the Cuerno Verde Rest Area in Colorado City. Deputies executed a search warrant for the Days Inn where Flowers was registered, but he was not there.

Anyone with information on where he could be is asked to call the Sheriff's Office.
