Pueblo Police investigating after man found shot and killed inside home

Pueblo Homicide Investigation

PUEBLO, Colo. - The Pueblo Police Department is investigating after a 22-year-old man was found shot and killed inside a home in the 1400 block of East 6th Street.

The homicide was reported by a man who lives in the home. The man says he and his son were at the home with the victim and at least one other person and his son knew the victim, but their exact relationship is unclear.

The man and his son then left the home and called Pueblo Police from a public phone.

The victim's name will no be released pending notification of next-of-kin.

Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the identified suspect, 15-year-old Johnny Dennel Jr. 

Johnny is described as Hispanic, approximately 5’5, 148 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Johnny you are urged to contact the Pueblo Police Department.

The incident is still under investigation.
