Robbery at Diamond Shamrock Gas Station

Springs Police say armed man robbed store on Arlington Drive

COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado Springs police are looking for an armed man, they say robbed a Diamond Shamrock Gas station around 9:30 last night.

Police said the man walked into a Diamond Shamrock on the two thousand block of Arlington Drive with a silver handgun.  They said the man wore a red bandana to cover his face and pointed his gun at the gas station's clerk.

The clerk told police, the man demanded money and lottery tickets from the register. When the clerk gave him money and lottery tickets, the man took off on foot.
