Saturday shooting death ruled city's 11th homicide, arrest announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Police Department says an arrest has been made in a deadly shooting that happened on Farnsworth Drive Saturday morning.

Malik Rashod Lee, 19, faces a first degree murder charge in the death of Andrew Lawrence Swiatek, Jr., 29.

The shooting report came from the 2200 block of Farnsworth Drive at 5:21 a.m. on April 15.

Swiatek's death was ruled the city's 11th homicide of 2017.
