PUEBLO, Colo. - A state hospital patient who was on "walkaway" status was captured Thursday.
According to a statement issued late Thursday, Vergina Glenn, 56, was arrested earlier in the day at the Spanish Peaks Mental Health Center.
She had been wanted since late Wednesday, after staff at CMHIP failed to contact her during a routine curfew check.
Glenn has been on conditional release since 2004 and became "agitated" Wednesday while at an an "outside health care facility," the release said.
According to our news partners at the Pueblo Chieftain, Glenn was committed to the CMHIP after being found not guilty by reason of insanity in 1993 for assaulting a police officer in Denver.
