State senator receives threatening messages

DENVER, Colo. - A spokesman for the Colorado Senate Majority said that State Sen. Angela Giron has been receiving numerous threatening telephone and email messages related to gun safety legislation. 

Communications Director Doug Schepman said that four of the emails had been forwarded to the State Patrol for investigation. 

A spokesman with the Colorado State patrol said so far there have been no specific threats and so it is hard to take any action.
